1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or be accessing the website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Product Information

All Vintage Hides products are made using genuine full-grain leather sourced and crafted in Vaniyambadi, Tamil Nadu. Natural variations in texture, grain, and colour are inherent characteristics of real leather and are not defects. Product images on our website are representative, and slight colour differences may occur due to display settings.

3. Pricing & Payments

• All prices are listed in INR (₹) inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
• Prices may change without prior notice.
• COD (Cash on Delivery) orders may include a small convenience fee.
• Prepaid orders may receive exclusive offers or faster processing.
• All payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. Your financial data is never stored on our servers.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed within 1–2 working days. Delivery typically takes 3–5 working days across India. Free shipping is available pan-India on all prepaid orders. Estimated delivery dates are indicative and not guaranteed. For complete details, refer to our Shipping Policy.

5. Returns & Replacements

We want you to receive exactly what you ordered, in perfect condition. Because of this, our return policy is focused on making that right — quickly and at no cost to you — if something goes wrong on our end.

• Returns and replacements are accepted only if the product arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product.
• You must raise the request within 72 hours of delivery, with photos/video of the damaged or incorrect item.
• You can choose either a full refund or a free replacement — your choice.
• Change-of-mind returns are not accepted — this includes dislike of size, colour, style, or a change in preference after delivery.
• Pickup for a damaged or wrong item is completely free — we bear the return shipping cost.
• Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected, credited to the original payment method (COD refunds via bank transfer or UPI).

6. Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible. To request a pre-dispatch cancellation, please contact support@vintagehides.com, WhatsApp, or call us immediately.

7. Warranty

Vintage Hides products come with a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery, covering stitching only.

• Covers stitching-related issues — such as seams opening or thread failure under normal use.
• Does not cover hardware (zippers, clasps, rings, buckles, or other fittings), or any component other than stitching.
• Does not cover damage due to misuse, water exposure, negligence, or accidents.
• Natural wear, patina, scratches, or ageing of leather are not considered defects — they are hallmarks of genuine leather.
• Any unauthorized repairs or alterations void the warranty.
• To claim warranty, email support@vintagehides.com with your order number and photos.

8. Limitation of Liability

Vintage Hides shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of profit, data loss, or business interruption. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the value of the order placed.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, product photography, branding, logos, text, and design — is the exclusive property of Vintage Hides and is protected under Indian intellectual property laws and trademark registration. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of any content without express written permission is strictly prohibited.

10. User Conduct & Fraud Control

You agree not to misuse the website, attempt fraudulent activity, submit false return requests, or disrupt the platform in any way. Vintage Hides reserves the right to cancel orders, withhold refunds, or permanently block access in case of suspected fraud, misuse, chargeback abuse, or violation of these terms. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies in cases of fraud.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Vintage Hides is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). 13. Force Majeure

Vintage Hides shall not be held liable for any delays or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, courier strikes, or logistics disruptions. In such events, we will communicate transparently and honour all pending orders as soon as possible.

14. Modification of Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, legal requirements, or best practices. All updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website and purchase of products constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act 2019 and the Information Technology Act 2000. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.
